Google Introduces Blue Checkmark Feature in Gmail- Read More!

Xiaomi Fans,
Welcome to the Xiaomi community in Bangladesh, Tech Team. Google has announced the introduction of a blue checkmark feature in Gmail, aimed at indicating verified senders and helping users differentiate between legitimate senders and impersonators. This new feature is expected to enhance email security and provide an additional layer of trust for Gmail users."

The feature isn’t available for everyone though as it will be available only to those who have Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI). BIMI is a feature Google introduced back in 2021 for brands to use strong authentication and also verify their brand logo that can be displayed as an avatar in emails. Now, brands who use BIMI will get a blue checkmark icon next to their name which further proves their authenticity.

Google is rolling out the blue checkmark feature in Gmail over the next three days. It will be available to all Google Workspace and legacy G Suite Basic/Business customers, as well as personal account users who can apply for the feature.
